Interview with Prof. Timothy Hughes Yes No I am a French Canadian and 57 years old. I was diagnosed with Atrial Fibrillation in June 2003. On August 2004, my platelets became very high (1.4 million) and my white blood cells were high as well. The doctors thought that I had Essential Trombocythemia. In June 2005, the RQ-PCR became positive and I started Gleevec. Now, I am currently PCRU.
I enjoyed the interview with Prof. Hughes. It was well conducted by Pat Garcia-Gonzales.I hope one day it will be translated in French.
