applications now open for the 2019 program

October 2018 - If you are a clinician treating CML patients in the emerging regions you can now apply for the 2019 iCMLf Clinical Preceptorship Program. With this program you have the unique opportunity to complete a 3-4 week preceptorship at a global CML centre of excellence. Applications are welcome until December 15, 2018.

October 2018 - The 20th John Goldman Conference on CML was a great success. Over 280 attendees from 30 countries celebrated the amazing evolution of our knowledge and progress treating CML. We are pleased to share two summaries of the meeting from the perspective of the meeting chairman, Professor Jorge Cortes (with focus on the clinical aspects) and one of the co-chairs, Professor Daniela Krause (with focus on the scientific aspects).

October 2018 - By taking on the Mt Kilimanjaro:Climb for a Cure 2019 you will raise urgently needed funds for the iCMLf CURE Program. This new program invites interested parties to work together on specific projects under the banner of ‘CURE’.

6 people have already registered for the Climb for a Cure in October 2019. Professors Tim Hughes and Jorge Cortes will be climbing along with Nicola Evans, the iCMLf chief executive. Will you join us?

iCMLf Forum Round tablesJanuary 2018 - Webstreams of the presentations from the iCMLf Forum for Physicians from Emerging Regions 2017 are now available to view. This year's Forum focused on 'Perspectives on the management of CML'. iCMLf experts gave the global perspective followed by local emerging regions perspectives from Russia and Brazil and a discussion with the audience. 
A new highlight this year was the ‘Meet the expert’ session with small group discussions on the management of TKI’s exclusively for physicians from the emerging regions.

October 2018 - On our recently launched patient page, we provide an information hub where reliable up to date information for patients can be found. We link to available patient-friendly information from patient and medical organisations and hope that this is a good starting point for a patient’s journey learning about and living with CML.
