The iCMLf Forum for Physicians from Emerging Economic Regions 

The iCMLf Forum, held annually, is a partnership project between the iCMLf and The Max Foundation. The aim of the meeting is to focus on the challenges faced  by physicians in emerging economic regions, where resources are often limited, and to share the work and initiatives implemented to overcome these. The iCMLf Forum showcases specific topics relevant to these regions, highlighting local projects that enhance CML patient management.

At this forum, we will take a look at future directions of CML. What are the next big challenges in CML? What are the most promising new approaches? What research questions need to be answered to help us to move closer to a cure for CML?

Our speakers and panellists of renowned experts in the field will share their perspectives and discuss key challenges in CML in the coming years. You are invited to join the discussion!

This year's Forum focused again on overcoming challenges in managing CML, featuring practical discussions with CML experts. CML experts gave the global perspective followed by local emerging regions perspectives from The Russian Federation and Brazil and a discussion with the audience.

Overcoming the challengs of treating CML in Africa

Webstreams of the presentations from the first iCMLf Forum for African Physicians treating CML that took place on November 6th 2019 in Maputo (Mozambique) are now available to view. This first iCMLf Forum in Africa was presented in partnership with The Max Foundation and focused on overcoming the challenges of treating CML in Africa with perspectives from Tanzania, Ghana, Botswana and Nigeria.
