January 2019 - The iCMLf is pleased to present to you conference coverage from the CML education session at the American Society of Hematology Annual Meeting (ASH 2018) in San Diego. This includes expert video interviews with speakers on their perspectives on the session and a scientific summary report of this session and relevant abstracts.

Education session on CML – With great success comes great responsibility
At ASH in San Diego, the CML education session was entitled 'With Great Success Comes Great Responsibility'. Professor Jane Apperley from the Imperial College in London (UK) and her co-presenters, Professors Timothy Hughes and Charles Craddock gave respective presentations on the treatment of CML with TKIs, molecular monitoring to aid clinical decision making and the role of transplantation in managing CML.
