Professor Hemant Malhotra
Hemant Malhotra is Head of Medical Oncology at Sri Ram Cancer Center, Mahatma Gandhi Medical College & Hospital, Jaipur.
He also serves as Head of Medical Oncology at the NIMS Superspeciality Hospital in Jaipur.
He earned his medical degree and did his postgraduate training in internal medicine from SMS Medical College, Jaipur, and pursued further oncology training at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai.
After establishing the first medical oncology division in Rajasthan at Birla Cancer Center, SMS Medical College, he led that unit and directed Oncology Services at MGMCH post-retirement.
Professor Hemant’s research includes hematologic malignancies, especially CML, and liquid biopsy approaches. He is actively involved in advancing cancer care and access to treatment in India, especially for patients with leukemia.
He has published over 200 scientific articles and is a leading voice in regional oncology education and outreach. Dr Malhotra received the iCMLf Prize in 2016.
