iCMLf Climb for a Cure

The iCMLf Climb for a Cure is the International CML Foundation’s flagship global fundraising event, uniting adventurers, advocates, and CML experts to raise funds and awareness to support people living with CML. Through this distinctive initiative, participants take on an extraordinary physical challenge while helping to support essential programs that improve access to treatment, equip healthcare professionals with knowledge and skills, and advance pioneering research.

2026: Avenue of Volcanoes

In February 2026, a dedicated team of 19 climbers completed the iCMLf Climb for a Cure 2026, taking on the Avenue of the Volcanoes in Ecuador to raise vital funds for the iCMLf. Every step they took supports doctors and patients worldwide, ensuring better access to CML education, training, and collaboration.

Our Climb for a Cure Legacy

Since its inception, the iCMLf Climb for a Cure has raised over $690,000 and taken participants to some of the world’s most iconic destinations, combining adventure with advocacy to raise critical funds for the iCMLf’s programs.

2023: Annapurna, Nepal

Climbers ascended the majestic peaks of Annapurna to raise awareness and support for overcoming barriers to CML care in remote and underserved regions.

2019: Mount Kilimanjaro, Tanzania

Climbers conquered the “Roof of Africa” to spotlight the challenges of accessing CML care in low-resource settings.
