Professor Michael Mauro

Michael Mauro, is Leader of the Myeloproliferative Neoplasms Program and Leukemia Service at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York, USA.

He also serves as Professor of Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College.

He received his medical degree from Dartmouth Medical School and completed residency at New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell, followed by hematology/oncology training at OHSU.

Professor Mauro spent over a decade at OHSU working with Brian Druker directing CML clinical trials.

Michael Mauro’s expertise includes CML, MPNs, myelofibrosis, and rare disorders. He specialises in the management of CML and has contributed to long-term outcomes research and treatment sequencing strategies.

He has authored more than 200 peer-reviewed publications and is involved in national and international guideline development.
