iCMLf Chief Executive Nicola Evans joined 2026 World CML Day Conference in Beijing

Last week, iCMLf's Chief Executive Nicola Evans travelled to Beijing for the 2026 World CML Day Conference. More than 400 patients, caregivers, physicians, nurses, and medical staff came together in Beijing, with over 20,000 more following online, to learn, to share, and to support the CML community. 

The meeting also gave patients an opportunity to share their experiences of living with CML. Their stories, together with a Q&A session with physicians, created a space to connect, learn and support one another.

"Celebrating World CML Day in Beijing was truly inspiring. Thank you to this remarkable community, patients, clinicians and researchers, for all you do to give hope to everyone living with CML," Nicola said.

The strong engagement, both in person and online, highlighted the importance of creating opportunities for the global CML community to connect, share experiences and knowledge, and learn from one another. Bringing CML experts together and sharing knowledge across borders helps strengthen these connections and support the global CML community, wherever its members are.
