Arlene Harriss-Buchan

Arlene has been the Clinical Program Leader for the iCMLf since 2018, developing and delivering global education programs that support equitable access to CML knowledge and care. She works closely with clinicians, laboratory specialists, and partner institutions worldwide to strengthen networks, mentor emerging leaders, and facilitate high‑impact clinical forums.

She has a background in biochemistry, environmental science, governance, and international collaboration, with experience spanning research, policy, and public engagement. She enjoys translating complex scientific issues into clear, accessible communication and building strong partnerships across cultures and disciplines.
