Stefanie Bockwinkel

Stefanie is the Communications Director at the iCMLf, responsible for strategic science communication across the Foundation’s global initiatives. Since joining the iCMLf in 2013, she has led communications around international congresses, scientific publications, the iCMLf Prizes and the iCMLf Conversations series. A key part of her role is gathering and providing scientific educational content on CML for physicians and scientists, including updates on clinical trials, treatment guidelines, information on pediatric CML, the monthly ‘Papers of the month’ and summaries of key publications.

With over 20 years of experience in healthcare communications, including roles in the pharmaceutical industry and international patient organisations, Stefanie brings extensive expertise in translating complex science into impactful stories. Based in Berlin, she is passionate about connecting physicians, researchers, and patient organisations to improve outcomes for people living with CML worldwide.
