Since 2020, Isabella has been raising money for the iCMLf in honor of her mum, who was diagnosed with CML that year. Over the years, she’s run fun runs, rallied her school community, and inspired people around the world with her determination and heart.
And she’s not done yet.
Earlier this year, Isabella hosted a charity day at Reddam House Sydney - her second one - and raised an incredible $1,400 for the iCMLf.
As part of the day, Isabella gave a presentation about CML, the iCMLf’s work, and why supporting this cause matters so much to her. She shared how, thanks to treatment and the work of researchers and doctors supported by the iCMLf, her mum has been given three things that mean everything: life, health, and hope.
It was a proud moment for us to recognise Isabella’s efforts with a certificate of appreciation, presented by iCMLf Director Professor Tim Hughes and iCMLf Chief Executive Nicola Evans
Isabella’s passion, knowledge and kindness continue to inspire everyone around her - and us too. We’re so grateful to have her as part of our global CML community.
