iCMLf Diagnosis and Testing Program: Apply now for 2015 grantsFirstTest

April 2015 - The iCMLf Diagnosis and Testing Program offers seeding grants to hematology institutions in emerging economic regions. The aim of the program is to facilitate the diagnosis, testing and long-term disease monitoring of CML patients in emerging economic regions where it is not currently available. 
Building on the success of the previous twenty-two projects awarded iCMLf grants, the Foundation will offer further funding in 2015 for up to 10 new proposals with a funding of $10,000.

Applications close on the 10th of July 2015.

Through the Diagnosis and Testing Program the iCMLf will assist centres in emerging economic regions enhance facilities at a local level to either bring high quality testing to the patient, or to develop a low cost strategy for sending patient samples to a central reference laboratory for testing. Developing local diagnostic capacity and resource sustainability are important criteria for the iCMLf grants.
Institutions awarded grants will partner with a CML centre of excellence to ensure the successful implementation of the proposal and offer ongoing mentoring and support at a clinical and laboratory level.
