CML Sessions at EHA 2025 – Key highlights
With a range of scientific sessions, oral presentations, and impactful posters, this year’s EHA Congress offers a comprehensive and cutting-edge view of current discussions in CML research and treatment:
Scientific advances & translational research
- Specialized Working Group Session (June 12): Focusing on CML stem cells and modelling disease biology, this session also includes a preview of the 2025 ELN recommendations – a must for clinicians and researchers alike.
- Oral Session: Biology of CML treatment response and resistance (June 14):
Diving into novel research on early response prediction, TKI resistance mechanisms, and treatment-free remission biomarkers.
Clinical strategies in focus
- Hematology-in-Focus Session (June 14): Updates on BCR::ABL1 mutations, sequencing TKIs, and optimising CML patient pathways.
- Oral Session: Novel approaches of CML treatment (June 13): Features pivotal trials like ASC4START, ENABLE, and HALF – reshaping frontline and discontinuation strategies.
CML abstracts & poster highlights
- Biology and clinical poster presentations (June 14): Around 30 poster presentations from novel biomarkers and resistance pathways to real-world experiences and pediatric CML, provide a rich scientific basis for discovery and discussion.
There is also a Satellite Symposium on CML supported by Novartis that will take place on June 12 from 8.00 – 9.30 CEST before the start of the official EHA scientific program.
