Prof. Iryna DyagilProfessor Iryna Dyagil

Professor Iryna Dyagil is the Head of the Department of Radiation Oncohematology, National Scientific Center for Radiatin Medicine of the National Academy of Medical Sciences in Kyiv.

Despite the on-going war, she is committed to provide high standards of care for her patients. She also makes constant efforts to maintain International collaboration
– a huge challenge given the current isolation of Ukrainian physicians, who can no longer travel, attend International Conferences, or network in person with colleagues from around the world.

Iryna Dyagil has always been very active in studying the effects of radiation using Chernobyl leukemia cases as a model. She is also very engaged in enrolling patients in International clinical trials and in cooperating with several EU institutions – with the ultimate goal to provide her patients with CML in Ukraine with the best possible care.
