I have a 53 year old house wife who has been diagnosed with chronic pahse CML in June 2010.
She has been under cardiology care since 2006 for dilated cardiomyopathy.
She has a pacemaker and is on Ramipril 5 mg twice a day with amiodarone 200 mg per day.
She achieved complete hematological remission by September 2010.
Her compliance has been confirmed.
Her bcr-abl/abl transcript ratio in December 2010 was 89% (repeat value 91%)
Is there a known interaction between the cardiac medication and imatinib?
