iCMLf kilimanjaro 2019 salesforce 1October 2019 - Our amazing team of 26 climbers – researchers, doctors, patients and supporters of the iCMLf from Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe and both North and South America are ready to go Climb for a cure 2019: Mount Kilimanjaro.

The climbers are gradually arriving in Moshi, Tanzania. On Sunday morning we will be on our way up to Mount Kilimanjaro – the highest freestanding mountain in the world. It’s a big adventure ahead of us and we will definitely be moving out of our comfort zones.

But there is already an amazing journey behind us. When Tim Hughes, Jorge Cortes and Nicola Evans started this campaign they had a goal in mind: to raise vital funds to find a cure for CML. But at that time they did not dare to hope that it would be such a success.

We have already raised more than US$270,000 to go towards the iCMLf programs to cure CML!

That would not have been possible without all the support we have received over the past months.

We kindly thank all our climbers who have worked so hard and with great dedication to raise funds and prepare for the climb.

We also like to thank our corporate sponsors for their generous support:

We are also very grateful to an anonymous CML patient from Hong Hong who donated $100,000 to support the Climb for a Cure 2019.

There is still a long way to a cure for CML. And it’s not too late to support us.

Many thanks to all of you for your amazing support!
Mount Kilimanjaro can be climbed. CML can be cured.
