The European Hematology Association (EHA) aims to promote excellence in clinical practice, research and education in European hematology. In June 1992, the Association was founded in Brussels, Belgium and began by organizing a biennial congress in a European city. From 1998, it became an annual event, taking place in June. Over the years, EHA has broadened its activities in order to serve European hematologists in a state-of-the-art execution of their profession. Today, the Executive Office of the Association resides in The Hague, The Netherlands, and serves a membership of over 3,400 from 100 countries.

The Max Foundation is a US based NGO at the center of access to treatment for CML in developing countries. The organization is a main partner in the Glivec International Patient Assistance Program (GIPAP) as well as a key element in other treatment access programs, providing services to more than 23,000 CML patients annually. Additionally, The Max Foundation provides services to patient associations, partnering with patient leaders to establish and sponsor local patient groups.

Established in Queensland in 1975, the Australian Leukaemia Foundation is the only national organisation dedicated to the care and cure of patients and families living with leukaemias, lymphomas, myeloma and related blood disorders. The disorders include myelodysplastic syndromes, myeloproliferate disorders (PRV, ET, MF), waldenstroms, amyloidosis and aplastic anaemia.

The Foundation for Children with Leukemia Health and Education, is a non-governmental and a non-profit public benefit organization in Turkey, which provides support to children affected by leukemia and their families. LOSEV’s primary goal is to provide permanent solutions to their problems. As 87% of the families of the children diagnosed with leukemia who are registered to LOSEV are from a low-income background and 11% have no income at all, LÖSEV provides complimentary treatment at LOSANTE; The Hospital for Children with Leukemia. Intensive treatment, accommodation and meals are completely free of charge for the patient and the accompanying mother.
