As we eagerly anticipate the launch of our upcoming Knowledge Centre module, 'Next Steps in CML Management,' with the first in a series of topics scheduled for release in May, we turn to Dr. Valentin Garcia Gutierrez, module co-chair, for insights into why these topics are pivotal for global CML knowledge, the profound impact of the iCMLf, and how the Knowledge Centre fosters equity in CML patient care worldwide.
We are pleased to announce the first instalment of our 2024 Latin American regional program to address specific local challenges for physicians treating people with CML. We are starting this year's progam of three zoom-based Regional Discussion Groups on June 27th.

March 2024 - We are delighted to announce the recipients of the 2024 iCMLf Prizes; Professor Neil P. Shah (Rowley Prize), Professor Jeff H Lipton (Goldman Prize), and Viji Venkatesh (iCMLf Prize).
Following numerous nominations received from the CML community, a panel of previous prize winners and the iCMLf Directors and Advisors has selected these individuals to acknowledge their exceptional contributions to advancing our understanding of CML biology and enhancing CML management.
All three are globally respected personalities and recognised experts in their field with a long professional and personal heritage in CML - as scientists, clinicians and patient advocates.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all prize recipients for their unwavering dedication, inspirational work, and tireless commitment to people living with CML.
March 2024 - With sadness we share the news of the death of Connie Eaves, a great friend, mentor and inspiration to those in the CML community.
‘‘Science is like an art in that it’s your performance that matters. If you produce a good song today it’s not necessarily going to last forever. This is, in part, what attracts people into science; it is that very insecurity that provides the drive to keep creating something new.”2 Connie Eaves
Dr Connie Eaves made major contributions to the understanding of leukemia and breast cancer biology. Her pioneering research, including the identification of quiescent cancer stem cells, revolutionised cancer treatments and research methodologies worldwide.

This International Women’s Day we’re taking a moment to acknowledge the many incredible women who are an unwavering force in the battle against CML. We proudly stand alongside the remarkable women who have dedicated their careers to advancing research, improving patient care, and raising awareness about CML.
Today we’re celebrating three of the amazing women we work with in Pakistan, China and Ghana as they tell us about their experiences as a woman working in CML, and their advice for other women in the field.
