Ride for a Cure 2024 has concluded, marking an inspiring and challenging journey through the French Alps. Six dedicated cyclists from Incyte embarked on this 710km route, facing significant climbs and enduring the summer heat, all while raising crucial funds for the iCMLf. And, thanks to your support, the team reached their fundraising goal, raising over $10,000!

It’s time to stop equating survival with quality of life
Feeling so fatigued that you can’t work, maintain a social life or do the things that bring you joy is not living

If you are someone who has the good fortune at this moment in time to not be living with an illness, or caring for someone who is, lean in: survival and quality of life are not the same things.

Certainly, faced with a choice between dying or living, most of us would gratefully choose the latter without taking a breath. In fact, that feeling of fear and the desperation to live — also felt by those who love us — is often overwhelming, crowding out any contemplation of what the living that we are holding out for will look like.

South Asian Physicians Engage in Productive Discussions at the First iCMLf Regional Discussion Group of 2024

The iCMLf commenced our 2024 regional program this week, hosting the first session of the South Asian Regional Discussion Group. Aimed at addressing localised challenges in treating CML, the session brought together physicians from across South Asia to engage in discussions and share case examples. Initially launched in 2023, the Regional Discussion Group program is designed to provide a platform for physicians across low- and middle-income countries to interact with both international and regional CML experts.
