New Structure and a Fresh Look: the iCMLf Website is relaunched 

August 2014 - The iCMLf has relaunched its website. Programs, discussions and education on this interactive platform now have a new structure and a fresh new look to make the multi-layered content more accessible. We invite you to see and look for yourself on a tour around the new website.

The 16^th John Goldman Conference on CML in September, the iCMLf Forum for Physicians from Emerging Economic Regions in December, ERSAP Clinical Preceptorship Program 2015, Rowley Prize 2015... Have you already marked your calendar? Visit the new “Diary dates” section and save the dates for important iCMLf meetings and programs.

Science & Education

The “Science & Education” section hosts the iCMLf Virtual Education Program and the Clinical Case Discussion Forum. The “Virtual Education Program” covers a series of webcast presentations from leading hematologists speaking about treatment advances and best practice management of CML. Come and visit the “Case Discussion Forum” and view the latest postings on difficult, or interesting CML cases. We have also established two new scientific sections on the website: “Scientific News CML” and “Pediatric CML”. They provide you with a selection of articles and scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals and relevant news from scientific meetings as well as expert opinions from leaders in the field – both on CML and on pediatric CML. In both sections you will also find links to active CML trials.

Emerging Regions

The “Emerging Regions” section is specifically customized to the needs of our members from emerging economic regions. It features information on the Emerging Regions Support and Partnership (ERSAP) Programs like the “Clinical Preceptorships” and the Diagnosis & Testing Program in the “Diagnostics” section. Non English-speaking physicians  will also find French and Spanish presentations in the “Virtual Education Program” section here. There is also a section dedicated to the annual “iCMLf Forum” for Physicians from Emerging Regions where you will find information on this valuable meeting. You can view webcasts of previous presentations and read reports on past meetings.

Would you like to learn more about the iCMLf? Then go to the “About us” section and read about the Foundation’s aims and priorities and find out how the iCMLf is governed by a Board of Directors, a Scientific Advisory Board and 36 National Representatives. In “Our Programs“ you will find an overview of the numerous programs coordinated by the iCMLf that mainly focus on education and access to treatment and diagnostics, primarily for emerging regions. In the “News” area you can check for latest news on the foundation’s programs and activities. The “Publications” section hosts the latest editions of the iCMLf’s printed newsletter and annual reports for download. There you can also subscribe to our regular e-mail newsletter. These iCMLf updates will keep you informed on the latest news from the Foundation. Last, but not least the “Prizes” section provides you with information on the iCMLf prizes, the well-established Rowley Prize and its new clinical equivalent the Goldman Prize recognising lifetime contributions to the management of patients with CML.
